Islamic Religious Council Melaka (Majlis Agama Islam Melaka) was constituted on 28th of September 1960. It is aim manage State Islamic Religion affairs Melaka by help and advise Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di- Pertuan Agong.As a Islamic Religion policy maker body State Melaka, several agencies / Islamic institutions was constituted such as Jabatan Islamic Religion, Jabatan Mufti, Syariah Court and MAIM subsidiaries to implement all decision or policy already made by MAIM.
