Projek Institut Kemahiran Tinggi Belia Negara is one of the National Youth Skills Institute under the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The Institute was born from the inspiration of Former Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir as a measure to improve skills in metal work among youth to meet the shortage of skilled workers for the manufacturing industry in Malaysia.
