The establishment of Malaysia Anti –Corruption Academy (MACA) or Akademi Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia was announced by Honorable Prime Minister of Malaysia Dato’ Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi at the 4th steering committee meeting of ADB-OECD Anti Corruption Initiative for Asia and the Pacific held in Kuala Lumpur. In general MACA will be the regional hub for anti –corruption capacity and capability building to fight corruption by promoting best practices in investigation, monitoring and enforcement and venturing in new areas such as forensic accounting and forensic engineering best practices in investigation, monitoring and enforcement and venturing in new areas such as forensic accounting and forensic engineering.
