Yayasan Taqwa was incorporated under the Companies Act 1965 by the Federal Territory Islamic Religious Council (religious council) as a company limited by guarantee.The main aim of the Yayasan Taqwa Wilayah Persekutuan Berhad is established to manage all types of zakat collection except zakat fitrah of individual, group or organization in Wilayah Persekutuan for the religious council and managing and improving treasury funds in order to ensure the strength of the Muslims in Malaysia.
