Terengganu State Forestry Department is responsible for maintaining and developing the state’s forest reserves. Therefore, it is the Department‘s vision to be recognized as a leading agency in the Sustainable Management of Tropical Forests (HSB). At present, there are 654.625 ha of forested areas in Terengganu Darul Iman. The total area of 544.118 ha area was gazetted as Permanent Reserved Forests (PRF).
