Multimedia University is Malaysia’s first private university. It has two campuses: one in Cyberjaya and one in Melaka. The distance between the two campuses is 150 kilometers, via the North South Expressway.The Melaka campus was set up in 1997 and is located in the Ayer Keroh district, the setting up of the campus involved converting an old building belonging to the Telekom Malaysia Berhad’s southern region office.Its Cyberjaya campus opened in Malaysia’s first intelligent city, Cyberjaya, on 8 July 1999.
